Tiesse Robot will be in Hall 13 – Stand C21 to present its most advanced solutions for the automation of welding and industrial handling processes. The star of the stand will be TS Weld Mate, a compact dual-station welding cell, mounted on a manual rotary table, with a CL110N collaborative robot. Also on show are three high-performance industrial robots, each designed to respond to specific production needs; two of these are being presented for the very first time. The internal cable wrist optimises cable passage, ensuring greater precision, less wear and tear and easy maintenance. RA020N: Kawasaki Robotics robot for laser welding with filler wire, with a payload of 20 kg and reach of 1,725 mm. It ensures high accuracy and repeatability even in the most complex machining operations. FAR S.r.l. has recently added some new articles and innovative fastening systems to its wide range of products. Let’s start with some news about ALV-IN rivets, an exclusive FAR product with an aluminum rivet body and a zinc-plated steel nail. It is a product created to meet the specific needs of users of honeycomb panels of all types. In fact, the ALV-IN rivet has three main characteristics that make it suitable for this use, such as: large deformation to improve resistance to extraction; the aluminum rivet body is particularly suitable for installation on soft or fragile materials; reduced dimensions to avoid through holes in the panels, while maintaining the desired aesthetic characteristics intact. Another recently introduced item is the ICT steel rivet nut with cylindrical head that has been designed to provide a threaded element on panels or sheets of soft or fragile material on which it would be impossible or not advantageous to directly make threaded holes. The particular and large deformation allows to significantly increase the resistance of the application without damaging the underlying material. A new flagship item in FAR’s recent production, with high technological content, is an innovative device for controlling riveting processes for rivets and rivet nuts. This system includes an acquisition hardware and a software, the latter installable on a PC or server and accessible via a convenient web interface. This system can analyze the progress of riveting by comparing it with sample riveting and manages the progress of the processes, also allowing the results for each riveting to be recorded and the order times with related costs to be monitored. The data can then be exported and viewed by the end customer.
